Form 1098 – Mortgage Interest Statement

Form 1098, also known as the Mortgage Interest Statement, is an essential document that helps you report the mortgage interest you paid during the year to the IRS. Greater Nevada Mortgage mails formal IRS Form 1098 tax documents by January 31 of each new year to borrowers who had their mortgage serviced by us in the prior year.

Need your 1098 tax information sooner? See below for more information.

We also provide the same 1098 tax information to borrowers who need the details before the mail version can be delivered. See below for those steps:

  1. Borrowers will receive an email alert in early January when the document is available to view or download online.
  2. After receiving the email alert, log into your GNM Online account. Don’t have an account yet? It’s free to enroll!
  3. Under ACCOUNT INFO in the main navigation, select Documents.
  4. Make sure the new year is selected in the dropdown in the body of the page.
  5. Click the document titled YE Form 1098/Mtg Int Statement to view it.
  6. The information will be in a slightly different layout than a traditional Form 1098 being mailed to you, but it contains all the same information to be used for your taxes.
